The Last Regiment is one of the few remaining syncopated drum corps. It was formed in September 1998 by Greg Odell in the hopes of continuing a style of drumming that incorporates both military style rudiments with "street beat" rhythms borne out of Long Beach, California. This Group is trying to go Kitesurfing as often as possible. The preferred places to go Kitesurfing are within daytrip reach of Portland, such as Hood River, Viento, Stevenson, Cannon Beach, etc.. But occasional trips to Hawaii, Brasil, etc. are welcome, too. Other Sports in case of NO WIND conditions are welcome, too.
